MCC Martinflatt Counselling & Consulting Ltd. was created in 2009 by Joel and Ashleigh Martinflatt. Together we strive to create strength-based, relational counselling and consulting services that meet the diverse needs of children, youth, families and adults. We are focused on creating a helping space that is focused on YOU and we approach all of our work with genuineness, integrity and cultural humility.
We are registered with Crime Victims, First Nations Health Authority and Autism Funding. We provide services both face to face and remotely.​​​​
About Us
At MCC we specialize in offering individual, family, and child and youth counselling. We are committed to helping our clients achieve emotional well being and develop healthy coping mechanisms to lead fulfilling lives.
Areas of Specialtiy:
Children and Youth: Anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma experiences, abuse and neglect, school-related issues, challenging behaviours, identity, grief and loss, foster care experiences and adoption-related topics.

Parenting: All family types, single parents, blended, foster, and adoption, grandparents raising grandchildren and LGTBQ+ 2 spirited parents.

Adoption/Permanency Planning: Proposal package consultation, transition plan consultation, openness plans & mediation, cultural plans.

Individuals: Grief and loss, trauma and violence, inter-generational trauma and many other inner wounds inflicted by others or a system.

Children and Youth: Autism Spectrum, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, anxiety, depression, acting out behaviours, grief and loss, self-esteem, school issues, foster care and adoption experiences and other experiences of trauma.

Couples & Relationship Issues: A safe place for LGBTQ+ 2 spirit folks as well as a diverse range of relationship types. Navigating separation and divorce, creating parenting and communication plans.
